INGREDIENTS

Paneer : 200 gms
Ghee : 75 gms
Cloves : 5 nos
Bay leaf : 1 nos
Ginger : 10 gms
Turmeric : 2 gms
Cream : 50 ml
Poppy seeds : 20 gms
Cashew nuts : 30 gms
Blue berry : 50 gms
grapes : 30 gms
Black pepper : 3 gms
Curds : 50 gms
Cardamom : 5 nos
Cinnamon : 1 inch
Onions : 125 gms
Green Chilies : 4 nos
Red chilli powder : 10 gms
Mace : 2 gms
Almonds : 30 gms
Melon seeds : 20 gms
Cherry : 4 nos
Skinned Orange : 3 slice
Salt : To taste

METHOD

  • Whisk curd in a bowl, add salt and leave paneer pieces in this for 20 mins.
  • Peel, wash & slice onions. Chop ginger & green chilies.
  • Soak poppy seeds for 30 mins. Blanch almonds, put in a blender along with poppy seeds, cashew nut and melon seeds. Make a smooth paste.
  • Heat ghee in a kadai, add whole garam masala & sauté on low heat until it starts to crackle.
  • Add onion and sauté till pink. Add ginger, green chilies, turmeric & red chilies. Fry for few minutes. Add marinated paneer and about 50 ml of water. Bring to boil and add the paste.
  • Bring to boil then simmer till fat comes to the surface. Add half the cream and stir. Add half blue berry, mace, orange and grapes. Adjust seasoning.
  • Serve hot garnished with blue berry, cashew nut, cherry & cream
